Location and the area
Where is Støtvig Hotel located?
Støtvig Hotel is located in Larkollen by the Oslo Fjord, about an hour from Oslo. The hotel is located right by the sea, with its own sandy beach and coastal path right outside the door.
Is the beach private?
The beach is located right next to the hotel and is available to our guests.
Can you swim all year round?
Yes, the Oslo Fjord is accessible all year round. Many people combine sea bathing with a spa experience, and from April you can also use our new sauna.
Do all rooms have a sea view?
Not all rooms have a direct sea view, but the hotel is located right by the fjord, and the sea is always close by.

Check-in: Every day from 15:00.

Is the reception open around the clock?
Yes, the reception is staffed around the clock.
Can we store luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes, we are happy to store luggage free of charge on the day of arrival and departure.
Do you have WiFi?
Yes, free WiFi is available to all guests.
Is the hotel cashless?
Støtvig Hotel is basically cashless. We accept cards and digital payment solutions. If you wish to pay with cash, the amount must be paid with the exact amount, as we are not able to give change.
Is the hotel non-smoking?
Yes, the hotel is non-smoking. Violation of this will result in a fine.
Is the hotel universally designed?
Yes, we offer rooms adapted for guests with disabilities. All public areas and restaurants are universally designed and wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator between all floors.

Do you have gift cards? How long are they valid and where can they be purchased?
Yes, we offer gift cards that can be used for accommodation, food, spa and experiences with us.
The gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be purchased via our website or at the reception. See here

Is there a minibar in the rooms?
No, there is no minibar in the room. At reception you will find a selection of snacks and drinks.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, we have a limited number of dog-friendly rooms.
There is a one-time fee of NOK 500 per booking. Remember to tick the box when booking or let the reception know in advance.

Is breakfast included?
Yes, our breakfast buffet is included for all overnight guests.

Can we eat in the restaurants without staying at the hotel? What restaurants do you have?
Yes, our restaurants are open to both resident and external guests. Table reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and holidays.

Is spa included in the room rate?
Yes, all overnight guests have access to Bad, Spa and Trim both on the day of arrival and departure. Towels and access are available at the reception.
What are the opening hours for Bath, Spa & Trim?
Monday–Friday: 06:00–21:00
Saturday–Sunday: 07:00–21:00
Can children use the spa?
Children under the age of 16 are allowed to be accompanied by adults on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 09:00 to 14:00.
What can we do at the hotel?
