Støtvig Hotel invites you to a rare wine experience where two of Europe's most renowned wine regions meet. This evening we take you from the Palatinate in Germany, known for its precision, freshness and world-leading sect, to Bolgheri in Tuscany, home to some of Italy's most legendary red wines.

The evening starts with an aperitif at 18:00, before we sit down at the table at 18:30 for a thoughtful dinner with accompanying wines. With us we have Lars Adskim from Palmer Group, who guides us through the evening and shares insights, stories and background about the producers behind the wines.

From Germany, sekt and white wine from Reichsrat von Buhl are served, a historic producer that is considered among the foremost in both German sparkling wine and dry, elegant white wines. Then we move south to Tuscany and Tenuta San Guido, the producer behind the iconic Sassicaia. The wine that created the term Super Tuscans and put Bolgheri on the world map.

For dinner, Le Difese and Guidalberto are included in the wine package. Often referred to as the little brothers of Sassicaia, these wines carry the same DNA, terroir, and philosophy as the flagship. Together, they provide a unique insight into the style and craftsmanship that characterizes Tenuta San Guido.

As an exclusive feature this evening, Støtvig Hotel opens its wine cellar and offers its own Sassicaia selection available to order in whole bottles during dinner. These are mature and sought-after vintages that very few restaurants can offer, presented in a separate wine list created especially for the event.

Sassicaia is not included in the wine package, but gives guests a rare opportunity to secure a true wine legend for dinner.

This is an evening for wine lovers who want more than just good wine. An evening for those who want to experience history, terroir and quality in the glass.

Reindeer from Finnmark served with Périgueux sauce, mashed potatoes with truffle and baked beets from Fredskjær Farm
